Terms of Use
Last updated: September 30, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Modern Wolf Designs, which runs Modern Wolf Pottery (“we”, “us”). They cover the template generators, printable templates, tutorials and other digital products sold on this site (together, “our products”). By buying or using them, you agree to these terms.
Who owns what
Our products, including every template generator, the templates it produces, our designs, measurements, written and video tutorials, and the software and code behind them, are the intellectual property of Modern Wolf Designs and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Buying a product gives you a license to use it, not ownership of it.
What you can do
- Use the generators you’ve bought to create and print templates for your own pottery.
- Print as many copies of your templates as you need for your own work.
- Keep, gift or sell the pottery you make with them. The finished pieces are yours.
What you can’t do
- Share, resell, sublicense or give away a generator, your access to it, or the templates it produces, whether as files, prints, or anything else.
- Post our templates, tutorials or generator output online, or include them in another product, course or template pack.
- Copy, scrape, decompile or reverse-engineer the generators or the software behind them, or build a competing tool from them.
- Remove or hide our copyright notices.
Teaching a class or running a studio, and want to use our templates with students? Get in touch first and we’ll work something out.
Your access
Your license is personal to you and tied to your purchase. If you break these terms, we may end your access to our products without a refund.
Our name and logo
The Modern Wolf Pottery name and logo belong to Modern Wolf Designs. Please don’t use them in a way that suggests we made or endorse something we didn’t.
Results may vary
Our templates are a starting point. Clay bodies, shrinkage, kilns and technique all differ, so we can’t guarantee how a particular piece will turn out. Measure your own clay’s shrinkage, and test before committing to a big batch. Our products are provided “as is”, and to the fullest extent the law allows, we’re not liable for losses that come from using them.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions? Contact us. How we handle your personal information is covered in our Privacy Policy.
